Ken Plant is Ireland’s leading top performance car specialist. With over 38 years’ experience in the trade, Ken specialises in premium auto brands including Ferrari, Maserati, Bentley,Porsche, Mercedes, Audi, BMW, Lamborghini and Aston Martin. Clients from across Ireland and the UK entrust their top caliber cars to Ken’s automotive workshop, located at Ballymount in Dublin, just off the M50. Ken began his career as an apprentice technician with BMW/Frank Keane Motors in 1978. There he gained invaluable experience working on performance vehicles to a premium standard. During that time he worked and competed in rally events across Ireland and subsequently joined the team at Murray Motorsport, preparing race and rally cars, building from shell up, as well as creating championship winning race engines and transmissions.
Returning to the trade industry, Ken managed a significant multi franchise service department in Ireland for 11 years, honing his skills in best practice and premium standards. Constantly in demand by private performance car owners, Ken took the independent leap in 2007. His workshop has gone from strength to strength in that time and demand is such that Ken has recently moved to a state of the art facility in Ballymount. Ken has built a tight, passionate, highly skilled team to work alongside him, servicing premium brand clients from across Ireland and the UK.
Ken Plant Autotech offer a 360° service for all premium autos, from routine checks, timing belts and full engine overhaul to clutches, including F1 diagnostic and set up, as well as full vehicle restorations and state of the art upgrades and improvements. Ken’s team only use the latest diagnostic tools from Ferrari, Maserati and many other super brands.
